Happy New year 2013.

Whatever happened in this year, how much we changed, how many we experienced, all of them are not big issues any more, the point is past enriched ourselves. It will be a whole new journey in the coming year, new experiences will shape a better life.

Detective Zhang.

The last look before the new year. This time the theme is called"Detective Zhang", the concept was inspired by 70s detective TV series and Action movies. I used to study film in the university before, the costume designs of old movies influenced my style a lot, especially the movies from 50s to 90s.

The last day of 2012, what's your plan for celebration? Anyway, I wish everyone has a great New year Eve!

Snow and velvet.

Although I expected more snow during Christmas holiday(only because it looks pretty...), the temperature still rising non stop. Well I should be happy about warmer weather of course, but it is definitely annoying to have so many chilling rainy days in winter. I couldn't wait to go to some warm place to celebrate New year now.The theme of this time called"Snow and velvet", was inspired by the elegance of 1950s, combined oriental traditional cheongsam with french style A line coat, but all in velvet fabric. As you know I dislike wearing any type of fur products, velvet is the most incredible and elegant material during winter. Bordeaux red, ink blue and rose purple is one of the most romantic and attractive color palate combinations.

I don't like to be stuck in a exact style for a very long time, whatever drawing or dressing, usually we need more different ways to express ourselves, don't we?

Merry Christmas, with much love.

There is a shining star hiding in the heart of all of us, it keep our soul warm, illuminates the road ahead. Let this tiny star keep illuminating each and every one of us, warm each other, release more bright light, become the most brilliant universe.

Merry Christmas everyone, with much love. Enjoy this peaceful and beautiful night.

Before the Christmas.

When I was a child I would always watch cartoons during this period, when the snow covered most of the ground and people fell on the ice below. Myself included in my later adult clumsy life. This was and still is one of the best times of the year, not a religious thing but rather something of culture which celebrates the coming together of family over a nice dinner and some very nice wine.
Where do you plan to go to celebrate this tradition? Myself I will go to another place close to Berlin, nothing special but for the New year I plan to go somewhere special where the fireworks are a plenty. Something like London, Paris, Amsterdam e.t.c  These places throw the biggest celebrations during this time of the year.
Before the holiday season came Esprit and myself co operated together in their Christmas series styling. These three looks are loosely based on the 70s and 60s style, hope you like them and enjoy your Holidays!
So share a drink or two (with responsibility) over some nice dinner with a close friend or two, or family member. Be merry and joyful, somehow I am sure 2013 will be a wonderful year.

Inspiration-the warm of love

The deepest and warmest love usually too shy to be expressed by words, because this kind of emotions are just as natural as breathing,  it becomes a part of life, it will be superficial to express too much in any way.

Plaid Please!

The theme of this time named" Black Plaid", the plaid textile mix Yin Yang woolen scarf, looks fresh and timeless in the snowy weather. As if they were painted by the ink color on the pure white paper.
I believe dressing could show a person's character and the track of maturity. Each time I post the look, it feels like I am expressing my characters and ideas with you. Nothing about fashion anymore, it is the way to communicate with people, to show my personal world.
Actually I am not a very romantic person. My ideal life style is pretty simple and clear: To do what I want to do, to say what I want to say. Try to fix my problems, try to change my faults. To capture the beautiful moments I come across. I just want to be a person who is passionate and creative, gentle but strong, honesty and clear.
So winter holiday season comes finally! What's your plan for this Christmas and New year?

Deep Blue of Mermaid.

     New painting issued.
"Deep blue of Mermaid" capture a  second of mermaid's gloomy emotion.  The mystery legends of undersea bring people so much imagination.  For a very long time I hope to show a gentle, dramatic, colorful and surreal undersea scene properly, finally I did it.

What is the mermaid looking at? What is she thinking about? worrying about? I think everyone has their own story behind this picture.

Inspirations- The structure of life.

The things could touched the soul usually is very rustic, because naturally the simple and plain is the structure of life.  Simple regression means getting closer to the truth.

Yin, Yang, Eight symbols.

As you know, "Yin and Yang" is the basis of Chinese taoist philosophy, the Yin Yang Symbol(or Tai Chi Symbol) was inspired by two fish shape originally, means the origin of life. There are always two opposite elements that exist at the same time, such as male and female, fire and water, sky and earth, light and dark... Then Yin Yang actually concentrated all these contrast elements and made them to a simple graphic.
Eight symbols in Taoist philosophy represent the fundamental principles of reality, seen as a range of eight interrelated concepts. Each consists of three lines, each line either "broken" or "unbroken," representing Yin or Yang, respectively. The ancient Chinese classic "I Ching"(Some English name translated to "the book of changes,it is one of the most complex books from my opinion...) consists of the 64 possible pairs of trigrams (called "hexagrams") and commentary on them.
The theme of this time is called" Yin Yang, Eight symbols", the whole outfit was built by black and white these two contrast shade totally, the patterns of this scarf are the two from " Eight Symbols": Qian and Qun. (means Sky and earth.) Don't you think it is really cool to mix these type of philosophy symbols into design works?
