Revolution can be cool!

I got a little nice gift today. A music box, with "La Vie en Rose" classic melody. I don' know what it is, but somethings are brewing, apparently they launch soon in Germany! Then why don't we join in? You will reach a beautiful moodboard if you enter your email.

Our 70s.

What was the biggest trend during 70s in the West? Flared trousers. What was everybody wearing all the time during the same era in the Communist countries? Grey Tunic suit. Let's combine these 2 trends together, then it was our 70s style situations under these two of Ideological confrontation. It was an absolutely crazy era for the whole world.
Rock,Hippie and dance cultures influenced 70s fashion. Flared pants not only shows people's vitality, but also their open minds and elegance. That was the reason flared trousers could become one of the most visible icon of this era.
Actually grey tunic suits originally didn't relate to Communist at all, It was modified from Japanese student's uniform which was also based on western's suit cut. In the beginning of last century Sun Yat sen kept wearing this type of student's uniform, so it called" Zhong Shan suit" in China. Yet people more know these type of tunic suit as" Mao suit"after 1949.
I combined them together, because I think it shows a complete period, although the tunic top is too big to me. :)

Autumn in Prague.

You couldn't only use"Beautiful" to describe this city, which carries so much histories and strong emotion, nice but tough, just like Czech people's character.  A thousands years of Gothic culture and Ethnic mixture had influenced every tiny detail of Prague, they built unique, mysterious characters of this city.
The autumn in Prague is the best season, colorful and poetic. Each frame that I saw is one perfect drawing.

An evening in Prague.

There are many places in Europe that I visit and often, so I wanted to try something new, as if putting on a new piece of clothing which gives you that fresh feeling, I felt this when I visited Prague. Tho it is not a big city it is very varied in history, people , and culture. Not to mention the city is over one thousand years old and has strong ties with the surrounding places in Europe.
Every building was very decorated in sculptures, paintings, cold or brass, or bronze that it really did feel as if I had gone back in time. What struck me the most of this city is how diverse different parts are, and in such small distances from each other. At night time the small tight roads up steep hilly terrain looked something you would see in Croatia, then other parts such as the Charles Bridge at Old Town was amazing during night time with the dimly lit and romantic setting, to Little Quarter where the little square there looked something from amsterdam, and up the road the Prague Castle at night time was equally romantic and charming giving you this amazing panoramic view of the city with distant lights and a clear sky.
If your an artist or a photographer, or love design and romance you have to visit this place and experience it! Most of my friends went there, some go back time and time again so I was elated to finally go and was not disappointed. I sound like a travel agent, but when you experience a city that moves you and gives you fond memories then you want to share them!

Black Cat-2

The theme is "Black cat" again, the eyes of black cat. The obsession of different types of cat themes keep inspiring me and making me happy.  I really think love and passions are the biggest reason to encourage us to finish one thing.
Also, I had painted the cats pattern on the "La Sardina "DIY Lomo camera for crossed over art exhibition with Lomography .  The exhibition will travel to Beijing, Shanghai and Hongkong. Of course I wish it could be shown in EU and US in future as well!
In the end, guess how many cats in the camera? :P
