Snow and velvet.

Although I expected more snow during Christmas holiday(only because it looks pretty...), the temperature still rising non stop. Well I should be happy about warmer weather of course, but it is definitely annoying to have so many chilling rainy days in winter. I couldn't wait to go to some warm place to celebrate New year now.The theme of this time called"Snow and velvet", was inspired by the elegance of 1950s, combined oriental traditional cheongsam with french style A line coat, but all in velvet fabric. As you know I dislike wearing any type of fur products, velvet is the most incredible and elegant material during winter. Bordeaux red, ink blue and rose purple is one of the most romantic and attractive color palate combinations.

I don't like to be stuck in a exact style for a very long time, whatever drawing or dressing, usually we need more different ways to express ourselves, don't we?

  5. As always I appreciate your post and inspirations behind it. Velvet is indeed a very elegant material, it's a great alternative to fur and faux fur.

  7. I love how you illustrate your outfit posts :) I use to do this too but found it too time consuming. I have a lot of respect for you putting in the effort!
