The topics of national tradition cultures are profound and interesting. They include so many things:languages, religions, habits, food, costumes...In other words, we called the cultures we didn't know that much are "Exotic"cultures , but actually we are exactly the same in the modern society. But at least we still keep many these type of "Exotic " traditional elements, which are the basis and inspirations for modern culture developing.
Nothing is totally original after so many years of cultural and technical evolution. For thousands of years people tried to create new progress from the previous things that we already know. Scottish kilt is one of the most commercial Celtic costume inspiration in the world. I guess it is a good example. It used to be the Scottish traditional garments for highland dancing and other celebrations. Since mechanical techniques had been developed, modern designers made these types of woolen kilts spread to the whole world. Apart from real scottish people still keep many interesting traditional "rules" to wear the costumes, kilt became more neutral and easy wearing.
So we have to know the rules well before we break it, we have to inherit traditions first before we start to innovate.
Since I started to edit my next book project"Fashion ,illustration,Art, Life", more questions came out:"Am I a fashion critic? Am I good at pointing trends, doing the fashion reviews? "Apparently the answer is NO. I am an artist, it means drawing, reading and finding the inspirations behind the designs are my advantages. Then I will do my best to keep writing more articles about cultures and inspirations.
