Finally, I finished my second book's project" Street Impressions". It will publish in the end of next month. No excitement, No cheering, just feels finishing a thing which is very meaningful to me.
It was the Christmas Eve of 2010, I came across a lovely girl in navy coat when I was buying snacks in the store. She had very unique expressions and very artistic style. At that moment I really want to draw it down before this image fade in my mind . Since then, I started my " Street impressions" series...to capture their emotional moment in my memories. Actually, it isn't a fashion street snap, I just want to record their mood of life. For example like the women was walking outside from the coffee shop and holding a cup of coffee; a father looks at his daughter with love. These details touched me a lot, it makes you have a passion to keep these warm moments. Like I said before, photographers capture this world with their cameras, I capture this world with my brushes.
