The art of Katsushika Hakusai

   It was so exciting to have chance to see Katsushika Hakusai's exhibition in Berlin. This exhibition presents most of his famous works in his life, such as "36 Views of Mount Fuji","100 stories","Dragon in clouds"and his comic collections. Most people thought he is famous as a landscape artist, but actually I love his character drawings a lot. His characters are full of life, especially the poses and expressions.  After the exhibition I felt really satisfied, when you see an artists real piece it feels like you are having a converstion with them in person. 

  This exhibition is open from 26th August until 24th October.

    I picked Shōwa era navy school girl style as the theme of outfit that day, for Hakusai's drawing. It doesn't matter about which era, Hakusai's works are one of the most important

inspirations for japanese art, and always will be.

Project Berlin ~ Part One

    I came across this girl that has these amazing designs and concepts for decoration, jewellery. I didn't manage to spend much time going threw all of what she had even tho it was not so much, just a table. Most of these designs are with meaning, have something in them when you look close. Based on animals or animal spirits, which is very spiritual to these people of south America. Im sorry I don't know full where from or the details this meeting was by accident and quick. 

    But, I do remember her saying that every design has a meaning, purpose. Some in the pictures you can see look like falcon, deer, wolf e.t.c. These designs are DO vibrant and have such colour to them, its amazing how small the details are, how much patience it must take. 

   At Paul's boutique,which is one of my favorite vintage shop in berlin, walls lined with trainers. 

    At the japanese noodle restaurant" Makoto",  afternoon sunshine passing through the window, the  light looked so nice and warm. 

Urban's green fairy tale.

Imagine if you have a fairy tale that took place in the modern world, a urban landscape filled with bright colours of greens as in nature. I always like fairy tales, the urban landscape is full of negative color, cold concrete of dull color. Would it not be amazing to have buildings all with different color, designs, shapes. This was my inspiration for this outfit. I simply love this kind of bright, vibrant color.

Well, about green fairy tale, you just couldn't avoid Walt disney's early works. Bambi is the lovely sample. Compare to the Computer graphic animation, these traditional anime has 

more emotion.

     franche lippée designed many lovely green fairy prints for each season and also the themes were inspired by the famous fairy tale and children's book. These print shows a

lovely fairy land which the animals and live in the green nature. 

The look of today also about spring, girlish style print, but I dressed up with a kind of mature way. Green could cute and elegant at the same time.

Sibylle Bergemann's Polaroid Exhibition.

I was touched when I saw these emotional pictures yesterday in C/O Berlin. These soft, peaceful expressions and lighting details are eternal, as a berliner famous photographer, most of her pictures were set up properly, but you could read different stories from everyone's eyes of the pictures. 

The exhibition will be in c/o berlin until 4th September

My cat on my jumper!

My mom gave me a big jumper as present when I visited my family this July. My first impressions of this top was" oh my god the pattern just look like Stupsi !" And my mom said that's why she bought this, it reminds her of stupsi a lot. A jumpy, grumpy and lazy cat which I live with. Especially the expressions are exactly the same. Yeah of course it is still cute right. But he is very lazy indeed all he does is sleep and hide from us. Even we give him lots of food and he eats as if some type of garbage disposal. Still, he is very cute and sweet, just difficult character sometimes. Like people, cats have their own way of thinking,their own personalities. 

This one.....only loves food!   

But we love him so much :p

It's my sea.

Finally I came back to Berlin, it's a fresh new start for me now. The meaning of travel is : Wherever you go, the destination isn't important, those stories during the way are much more fun. Each small story on the way will be the wealth of your memories.

I still remember that wide ocean, sometimes even I found that sky and ocean would come together for a moment. My blue dress was floating by the sea wind, it is my sea in the memory.

Byebye Bali !

After a long vocation in Bali, I will fly back to home tomorrow. It was such a beautiful holiday with my friends although I forgot all my paint tools. And it was a important styling experiences as well.
