It is Green fashion time!

Let's talk about green fashion today. I think Green Fashion is not just a means fabric, it also  a kind of slow life style attitude. As how I love  wearing soft and thin cotton fabric during summer, to go to the lake, reading a book and having a picnic , keeping some our space from those busy big cities. This type of life becomes more and more precious in the modern life, but the Green Fashion becomes more and more popular.

"the IOU Project produces unique, handmade apparel based on fabrics handwoven in India. Because each textile is unique, we provide end buyers with the ability to trace the production process from finished goods right back to the weaver that hand-wove the fabric. The stories of how that item was created, of the people involved, of the customers who purchased them, are the essence of the the e-commerce social network which The IOU Project has built as a meeting place for a community that shares our brand values of authenticity, transparency, uniqueness and both social and environmental responsibility. " Fashion designer Kavita said. She created the IOU project this year and her designs arecasual but really unique. I love the video they make, it reminds me 50s-60s old movie opening.

Designer Mira Becker has the same opinion on Green Fashion.“Today most of costumers only focus on
the result of clothes productions, but nobody care about how we make these clothes."She said,"I hope more and more costumers could pay more attention on the production process and have more and more responsibility for environmental protection."

Cruba by Mira Becker 's every season design are inspired by the environment problem of our planet.
after FW population problem project, the SS collections are inpired by"Oil Spills", the numb feeling of merely being a distant bystander, by the hammering urge to do something. Looking at photos and realizing the aesthetic of that imagery of oil in water bore the idea to print it onto a silk/cotton fabric. Profits will be donated to the US National Wildlife Federation.

Into the Cherry Blossom.

Cherry blossom is one of the most beautiful scenes during the spring, they painted these soft, gentle pink colors for the city. The outfit was inspired by Japanese traditional paintings, with a strong Art Deco feeling.

Art is a common language, the integration between different cultures is such a wonderful thing, in the collision and fusion to create a unique, whole new element that only belong to our time.

Let's play pixel game - Anrealage AW2011

Kunihiko Morinaga‘s new designs are totally amazing!!!!! They remind me early 80s-90s pixel game on FC/SFC.

Every detail was made of pixel. Sometimes the clothes should be our playmate. Let's enjoy!
