I cut my hair recently, which I let grow for 3 years. Many of my friends said, " I couldn't believe you could cut your hair off at once, don't you regret it?" Actually I don't think it is such a gloomy thing, in other words, I am so happy to have my new hair style, it feels much more fresh than before, the most important thing is perfect on me. Something I love perhaps isn't that suitable, but the thing which is suitable of me I would love it for sure.
The outfit theme of today was inspired by Abstract art, such as De Stijl, Color field, etc, it begins from the beginning of last century, when the modern art trend started. Abstract art express more perspective from artist's sight, abstract colors, architectures and line structures are the expressions ways to show how did they feel the world. You won't think it is too far away from you, at least you see the works from Piet Mondrian appear everywhere.
He was the icon of De Stijl style, somehow his style absorbed from Cubism, and then he created his new style, the abstract painting that was builded by basic elements(straight lines, original contrast colors and triangles. before the war his style was quite bright, was full of delight feeling , the line wasn't complete dark at all. I also love his late works in New York, you could feel the music melody from his structures. Blinky Palermo's work somehow reminds me Piet Mondrian , but he was more obsessed with hard edge.
Now let's turn back to the fashion topic. Fashion is a new ways( or may I say media?) to present abstract art. Fashion designers could use colors combination, different fabric mixing and architecture cut to show a " motion abstract art".
In the modern era of cultural pluralism, the development of contemporary art won't follow a particular way. It often rely on the various forms of media and styles to show the meaning of the concepts and ideas. Which way could get eternal from complicated resources, media, culture and ideas? Then I think only art could has this type of characteristic. Humans keep exploring, discovering and experiencing the new spirit of the art.
