The first thing I do when I come to Paris every time is go to different exhibitions. One of the main reason I love Paris so much is because I never have seen a city is surrounded by so many galleries and exhibitions. They are truly inspirations for any type of artists, you could just take your sketch book to the gallery and spend all day.Rococo art is one of the most representative styles in France. As you know, it used to be the most popular art before French revolution.
Rococo art is best known for it's use of pastel colors, and idealistic portrayals of human nature. It displayed the leisure time of the elite, and expressed lavish lifestyles. It is soft, luxury, dreamy, but somehow it is negative as well because many saw it as a display of a "corrupt society", that is why it was replaced by other types of art so quickly. But Rococo style is always be the best way to show the french royal romantic luxury life, whatever costume design, painting or architecture.
I think every woman just couldn't help but to love Rococo style so much, nothing could be more dreamy, elegant than this. For me it has a unique feminine quality to it that for me is very important.
