Asia, full of different styles and intertwining cultures that mix and mash with each other more than anywhere else on the planet. I think being from Asia I am very lucky in the sense that, my exposure to so many different types of looks and styles from fashion to art, architecture to films. Such as Japan and China, who have so many different style that influence not only the people that Live there , also the whole world. You can see this in cinema for one example, where the US keep re-making great films and often to not a great quality. Anime, Manga, Fashion and Music or even technological trends are emulated.
Art/Design/Fashion is one of the main things that influence me, and every artists that I know personally or online. You can see the asian style and feel in their art even if these people have never been to Asia. This is how far the influence of this culture can reach to Europe and the U.S. Of course the west influences the East very much, but there is a certain arrogance (an innocent one) when it comes to thinking that the west only influences other but is not influenced in turn.
But the influence comes from all over, I hope you see how much of an influence in fashion and style Asia has, China and Japan, and other countries from the east. What a wonderful thing to have such a big mix in the end isnt it? And yet, to still have the ability to Retain the “original” look and feel if one wants.
