Diet Part 2 - a quickie

"I'm sorry, but a diet can never be healthy. The moment you start eating 'normal' again you will gain weight."

Anything in excess (i.e diet) or too much food, alcohol, anything is bad for you." People evolved because of Meat, and evolved to eat meat". I like vegan, but felt weak on this type of food. No energy.
Why do you think you have canines on your upper Jaw for? The key is to have a Balanced Diet. Low fat, unless its nuts. The point of a diet is to learn self control, if you put on weight again after it is mostly because your over eating. Study done show that people who stop as soon as they feel they are getting full live longer and healthier lives. In our world of excess we are conditioned into "over
eating" without even realizing it. I never said to constantly for all time just eat Meat. Only for a short time and this is what worked for me ^ ^ as I said in Elle Singapore Diet. Then Changed my pattern, ate meat 3 or 2 times a week and ate what ever I wanted the other times but NOT to make myself too full. Would stop before I got to that stage. Eating "normal" again should not be your normal any more. Isn't this what makes us all put on weight in the first place? We have to make a "new" normal for our daily diets.
Saying all of this, each person is different. I don't want people to think I'm against Vegan. Me and my bf both tried vegan but can not do it. Those who are Vegans choose to be also because they understand the environmental problems caused by over production of animals which results in their waste polluting the environment. To be vegan also means to have a sense of compassion for all creatures. Or some people just don't like meat full stop.
Don't forget you have to train! Every day I would do some training for 30 minutes in the morning and nighttime. Also like I said, you have to drink a lot of water, alcohol will just cause you problems also.

  1. Hi - I've been following your blog for a while. Great stuff. I had a comment regarding your "vegan" comment. I've been a vegetarian for 13 years now.

Just wanted to say becoming vegetarian takes a lot of TIME and RESOURCES. It took me about 5 years learning and easing in before I actually became full vegetarian. At my temple (Buddhist) - there are many vegetarians there. I was able to learn from the other vegetarians about nutrition and how to cook tasty vegetarian dishes. I've been able to stay vegetarian for so long because I had a lot of knowledge about balancing nutrition as a vegetarian, and there was a great deal of time for my body to physically and mentally adjust to this lifestyle.

That said - become vegetarian is a lot like training to run a marathon. If you try without proper coaching or rush it - a runner can easily get injured from improper training. Similarly - people who try to become vegetarian can easily become sick without the proper nutritional adjustments and preparation.

If you want to try becoming vegetarian - I recommend you should do the proper research about nutrition, consult your vegetarian friends and lifestyle adjustments, and slowly ease your body into it (for a couple of years) if you want to stay healthy. :)

  2. Thank you so much for this post! I totally agree with you - today almost nobody knows what 'normal' means anymore. And that is the biggest problem.
I don't want to turn this into a big discussion (I read this blog because of your beautiful work, not because of your opinion), I just want to say it took me one video to become a vegetarian (glass walls with Sir Paul McCartney). Three days later I also stopped with milk and all milk products. Every now and then I eat an egg, but always with a bad conscience and mostly because of the vitamin B12.
